Although Brummels Photography Gallery was somewhat shabby, with seaweed matting on the floor,and inadequate lighting, it didn't deter photographers from wanting to exhibit their works, nor art reviewers and collectors from frequenting exhibitions. In February 1977, Phillip Adams opened the Sarah Moon Exhibition and launched the renaming of the Gallery to "The Pentax Brummels Photography Gallery."
